Self and all creation by providing space for inspiration, reflection and solitude (visit us at http://www.marywoodsc.org to learn more). We are a ministry of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
We are looking for someone to help us support those seeking a more fulfilling life. We’re not just looking for anyone. We are looking for someone who:
- is passionate about helping others grow
- has the heart of a servant leader. We are a small, team-oriented spirituality center and we all pitch in where needed
- is a creative, engaging presenter, good with details, organized, able to work collaboratively with others
- enjoys planning events that have a positive impact on people and the earth
- lives the Franciscan value of hospitality and welcomes all with compassion and acceptance
- has knowledge of spirituality, retreat direction or theology at a level normally acquired through completion of a Master’s Degree, certified as a spiritual director, 2 years of experience preferred
As the Coordinator, you will design, lead, and evaluate year-round programs and retreats, both on-site and off. Your programs and retreats will include people from a multitude of faith traditions, income levels, nationalities and cultures. As a Spiritual Director you will help people find a deeper relationship with God through spiritual direction.
This is satisfying and challenging work that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

An Epiphany Celebration for Wise Women
Women’s Christmas (Nollaig na mBan) is a cherished Irish tradition celebrated on the Feast of the Epiphany. When all the preparations, cooking and busyness of Christmas are over, Irish women gather in homes or pubs to relax, celebrate, and enjoy one another’s company – all while happily leaving the care of household duties to the men. At Marywood we believe this tradition has a place in the lives of today’s women as well.
We have 3 celebrations this year!

With Skype you can save long distance fees as well. When you wish to consult with a Marywood staff person, just Skype us.
If you register with Skype (a free service on the internet) and obtain a web cam (vary in price), you may wish to consider Spiritual Direction with Marywood’s spiritual directors via Skype. The online connection is free and private. We suggest the usual donation to help meet our staff time costs.
