CREATING YOUR SPIRITUAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Writing and drawing can be deeply spiritual practices. They can also be used as you create a spiritual autobiography that allows time for prayerful reflection on past experiences and future dreams. Please bring your journal and pens, your sketchpad and pencils, your computer or whatever medium you use to do prayerful drawing and writing. Event will occur at the Minocqua Library (415 Menominee St. Suite B., Minocqua, WI) Donations accepted. Bring a lunch. Register by Wednesday, November 28.

SINGING THE MUSIC OF OUR YEARNING HEARTS

Advent is a season of waiting and longing. The poetic word, yearning, appears frequently in the language of Advent readings and prayers, and it has shaped the form and the feel of Advent music. On this evening of the first Sunday in Advent, we’ll gather in the quiet darkness around the light of the first Advent candle. We’ll sing and reflect on the music of Advent from cultures around the world. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a confident or shy singer! Come! Suggested offering $10.00.

STANDING ON TIPTOES LONGING FOR GOD

PRAYING IN THE DARK
